Principles that Define Dr. Kim’s Breast Surgery Expertise
The volume of the implant (if needed) as it conjoins with the chest and the natural breast, as well as understanding that volume, or size, is only one of the factors to be considered.
The approach to achieving one natural unit
The position of the nipple
The desired shelving
The medial cleavage
The slope of the breast shelf
The crispness of the lateral line of the breast (toward the arm)
The position of scars
Breast enlargement surgery with implants usually takes about 1-2 hours and is typically performed with general anesthesia. Incisions are made in inconspicuous areas to minimize scarring. These may be located in the armpit (transaxillary), in the crease or the underside of the breasts (inframammary), or around the areola-the skin around the nipple (perioareolar). The breasts are then lifted, creating a pocket into which the implant is inserted.
Dr. Kim is a true expert who is well versed in all types of breast enlargement surgery. During a private consultation, Dr. Kim will sit down with you to custom design a breast enlargement procedure that best meets your desired goals.
